It was an impressive spring season for FSA FC.
The Farmington, Conn. club sent a pair of teams (U-15 and U-17) to the prestigious Champions Cup at last week’s ECNL Boys National Playoffs in Seattle, Wash.
FSA’s U-17 squad qualified by earning the third and final postseason spot from the New England Conference thanks to a 7-2-5 record. The U-15 group posted a dominant season, capturing the league title with a 12-1-1 record and an astounding 44-7 goal differential.
Those successful campaigns had FSA feeling confident about a potential run in the Pacific Northwest.
Two other local teams joined them at the playoffs. Connecticut FC’s U-14 also qualified for the Champions Cup by finishing third in the New England Conference, while CFC’s U-19 group capped their careers by competing in the North American Cup.
The ECNL Playoffs wrapped up Wednesday, so here’s a recap of how FSA and CFC performed.
