LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- The first major national showcase of 2024 for ECNL Boys kicked off on Saturday at the ECNL Florida event at the sprawling Premier Sports Campus.
It was a picture-perfect 70-degree day, with few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze. For the New England clubs that made the trip down to The Sunshine State, that weather was a stark contrast from the cold winter climate that they were coming from.
Still, the three-day event that will wrap up Monday allows all 230 teams (between the age groups of U-16, U-17 and U-18/19) the chance to see where they stand against premier competition from across the country, before the spring season ramps up.
