Every August, first-years roll onto campuses across New England for their first preseason camp. They’re full of unbridled optimism, and perhaps nerves, about what their Divison 3 experience has in store.
For these below 15 players (we capped it there), they’ve tackled that dynamic head-on with flying colors. They’ve established essential roles from the get-go, asserting why coaches recruited them with high hopes in the first place.
Much can change in the weeks ahead, and a four-year college soccer career is seldom linear. But based on early returns, you can expect these players to possibly grow into household names across the region.
