After a nearly nine months off, Division 3 soccer is back in New England, with top teams and players spanning from the southern tip of Connecticut to the northern reaches of Maine.
In other words, no matter where your alma mater, hometown or allegiance may rest, our region features some of the best D3 soccer in America.
Case and point: 2016’s Final Four featured two New England-based teams in Tufts and Brandeis, and the NSCAA All-America Teams featured seven players with roots in the region. A dominant reason for such prominence is two of the nation’s top conferences – the NESCAC and NEWMAC – unfold here, attracting talents who otherwise could play at the Division 1 level.
Without further ado, let’s get right into our first D3 Men’s rankings of 2017, with weekly updates to come.
