The standard for Division 3 men’s soccer in New England, year in and year out, is competing for an NCAA championship.
Amherst earned that right this past season, though fell to St. Olaf College, 2-1 in overtime, earlier this month in the national championship game. And thus, for just the third time since 2014, national silverware didn’t come back to the region.
Despite that shortcoming, there are plenty of schools across New England that have ample reason to be proud of their 2023 campaign.
