After the first two rounds of the Division 3 men's soccer NCAA Tournament, New England's representation has been whittled down from 14 teams to five.
The remaining handful includes four NESCAC programs and one NEWMAC program -- Bowdoin, Connecticut College, Tufts, Wheaton and Williams.
They're all preparing for sectionals on Nov. 22-23, with those winners heading to Final Four weekend on Dec. 5-7 in Salem, Va.
From the nine local teams that got eliminated, the group includes 2024 NCAA winners Amherst. There'll be no repeat champion this fall.
