When the Division 3 season gets underway this Labor Day weekend, all eyes will be on local teams and what they could accomplish in 2019. Well, at least most eyes.
There’s also a strong group of players from New England – either those with local hometowns or who went to prep school here – who could accomplish big things this fall, though play outside of the region.
To get you prepped for what’s in store, we’ve highlighted 10 such players to watch for. Many are at top-25 programs, ones that could make a charge at the national title.
So while Tufts, Amherst and Connecticut College are the early local favorites for a deep postseason run, some of New England’s own could star elsewhere around the country.
