Believe it or not, we’ve reached the final few weeks of the Division 2 women’s soccer regular season in New England.
In this region, the preeminent D2 league is unquestionably the Northeast-10 Conference, with nine of the 13 programs residing in New England.
Thus far, it’s been Franklin Pierce leading the way at 7-2-1 overall and 4-2 in the league. Southern Connecticut State (5-4-2, 3-2-2 NE10), Southern New Hampshire (5-2-2, 2-2-2 NE10) and AIC (4-2-3, 2-2-2 NE10) are also playing well.
Within those team efforts has been some superb individual play. To that point, we highlighted a player on each New England side in the NE10.
