Division 2 soccer in New England tends to garner less focus, but that doesn’t mean it’s without some talented players.
In fact, Merrimack and Southern Connecticut were both NCAA tournament teams last year, while Southern New Hampshire perennially contends for a national title. Those three teams are all out of the Northeast-10, one of the nation’s toughest conferences, regardless of division.
Mindful of that, we’ve sorted through 15 standout players across the region’s D2 men’s soccer scene. Only three are from New England, reflecting the heavy international presence of the D2 ranks.
