The Division 1 women’s season marches on, as most local teams wrapped up their out-of-conference schedules this past week.
Yale, Harvard and UMass all had strong weeks to climb up our rankings. Meanwhile, Northeastern, UConn and Boston University, three programs traditionally part of the region’s elite, are having difficulty putting together wins. The trio surely looks forward to starting conference play soon.
Notably, Dartmouth rides a strong week into the Top 10 for the first time, the fourth Ivy League program to be ranked this season. The Big Green earned their place with a win over New Hampshire.
