While the COVID-19 pandemic has derailed college soccer over the last five months, the recruiting world ticks on despite serious interruptions.
That’s certainly the case in Division I, where the dead period was previously extended through Aug. 31. Those interviewed for this story said they expect that to be pushed further back, potentially through late November.
To understand how the recruiting landscape has been altered and what could unfold, we connected with three D-I women's coaches from throughout New England. Most 2020 seasons have been cancelled (or postponed) in recent weeks, so much of their focus shifts to recruiting.
