Goalkeeper Nate Silveira (East Providence, R.I.) figures that if he is going to stay and play one final season with the University of Vermont men’s soccer team, he might as well get two degrees.
It means that Silveira will depart UVM with bachelor’s degrees in psychological science and sociology with a concentration in criminal justice.
Silveira would also like to be named America East Goalkeeper of the Year for the second consecutive season and potentially pull the double of winning the regular season and conference tournament titles.
When Silveira sets out to do something, one is never enough. He always wants and works for more, which helps push the Catamounts back to the top of the America East standings and puts them squarely in the conversation as one of the best programs in New England.
