For nearly two full seasons, Christian Bejar (Lawrence, Mass.) put in the work at Boston College and did his best to keep himself primed for that one big opportunity when it came to him.
The Brooks School alumnus spent his first season at the Heights mostly on the sideline, then saw action in parts of 10 games -- with one start -- on defense as a sophomore during the regular season.
It was in the first round of the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) tournament against No. 5-ranked Duke University when that chance he had been working toward finally arrived -- and what he showed on the pitch that day helped pave the way for him to become a lineup staple ever since for the emerging Eagles program.
