Two New England men’s Division 1 players are among the 15 men’s semifinalists for the 2022 MAC Hermann Trophy.
New Hampshire junior defender Moise Bombito and Vermont grad midfielder Alex Nagy (Bow, N.H.) were included when United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) on Wednesday announced the semifinalists, based on voting by NCAA Division 1 men’s soccer coaches.
The MAC Hermann Trophy is the most coveted individual honor in NCAA Division 1 soccer and has been awarded annually since 1967. Last year, Jaelin Howell (Florida State) and Dante Polvara (Georgetown) received the award for outstanding intercollegiate performances.
