A new year is upon us, and the next 12 months are sure to provide action-packed competition and compelling storylines in New England soccer.
Of course, January and February could be classified as the quieter months on the calendar, as players are coming off long and busy high school/prep and college seasons, and are gearing up before spring play really gets cranking for clubs and college programs.
With that being said, it’s as good of a time as any to forecast some predictions in the world of New England soccer for 2024.
Here are five predictions for this year, touching on various levels of soccer in the region:
