The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) is nearing a return to competition, which puts Northeastern University in the regional spotlight.
Northeastern is New England's only CAA program, with the conference's soccer pool spanning from Boston to South Carolina. That geography creates some challenges for competing amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Huskies have split division play to look forward to. Everyone will be chasing the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA tournament, too.
