When it comes to Division 3 soccer in New England, Brandeis has a strong track record of landing top-end midfielders from Massachusetts.
Look no further than former Worcester Academy and NEFC standout Josh Ocel (North Attleboro, Mass.), who became a three-time All-American up through 2017. Or there’s current junior Noah Gans (Newton, Mass.), who’s among the UAA’s standouts this fall.
That track record will continue for the Judges’ Class of 2020, as they recently landed a verbal commitment from senior Liam Carpenter-Shulman (Amherst, Mass.). He was named an Allstate All-American last year and was quick to explain why the D3 route was so desirable.
