Just like that, the end of the Development Academy regular season is right around the corner. Preseason began in August of 2018, and now all eyes are focused on late June in Oceanside, Calif., for the Summer Showcase and Playoffs.
Before that event nears, we've highlighted some of the region's top performers at the U-17 age group. The below Best XI from 2018-19 is set up in a 3-4-3 formation to give balance and account for the top players.
Players included within suit up for New England's five DA clubs: Beachside SC, Boston Bolts, New England Revolution, Oakwood SC and Seacoast United.
A handful of these standouts have already committed to play college soccer, while the vast majority are in hot demand by coaches across all three divisions.
