In the Development Academy, the holiday season offers an opportune time to reflect upon the fall campaign.
That outlook is particularly apt for the Boston Bolts U-17 and U-19 teams, which both have their work cut out to climb the Northeast Division and make playoffs in San Diego, Calif., come June 17-29.
But after going a combined 3-2-1 at the Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., there's an optimistic tone around the club from Newton, Mass.
That particularly describes their U-17s, which defeated Saint Louis FC (Mo.) and Breakers FC (Calif.) by a combined 8-2 scoreline down in Florida.
