This is what the women of Boston College are up against in the Atlantic Coast Conference this fall.
If it wasn’t enough that the Eagles ended up looking up at 10 of the other 13 teams in the power league when an unconventional, bisected season concluded last spring, they also watched three teams from their league — Florida State, North Carolina and Virginia — reach the College Cup, the third time in the past decade the ACC has pulled that off.
