Boston College head coach Bob Thompson will finally get to see his flock spread their wings for a full season.
The second-year head coach surely had a lot to deal with in his first season at the helm, but got a taste of his team’s potential in the spring.
The Eagles coach knows that there is a very capable group on board, but catching up to some of the other ACC teams, who enjoyed a more realistic schedule in spring, will take some quick learning.
"I feel like we have a lot of talent," Thompson recently told the ACC Network. "I think the question is just going to be how quickly you can get 13 new guys on the same page. Because of COVID, we only had two recruits for 2020, so we had to have a big class to make up the numbers."
