The Big Ten and Pac-12, two of the country's top Division I conferences, have scaled back their 2020 seasons on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both announced last week that they'll play conference-only games this fall, but questions remain given how spread out their combined 26 schools are.
While these concerns will unfold predominantly in the Midwest and along the West Coast, the final outcome will affect players from New England. In fact, some of the region's top D-I players compete in either the Big Ten or Pac-12.
As final decisions emerge, here's a rundown of 10 prominent locals from the two conferences. All are from New England, though former NEPSAC stars like Ousseni Bouda (Stanford/Millbrook) and Umar Farouk Osman (Michigan/Hotchkiss) face concern as well.
