Another trip around the sun, another year of stars dominating the region’s Division 3 women’s soccer scene.
That’s what awaits during the 2022 campaign, which gets underway over Labor Day weekend. New England is chock full of strong teams, and returning standouts are in strong supply.
Now, narrowing this down into a Best XI format was no easy task -- and there’s a handful of players who are certainly deserving of being in this preseason conversation. As usual, the region’s D3 landscape is deep and full of quality.
Let’s get to it, going front to back in the, er, untraditional 3-3-4 formation.
