It’s no secret that New England is rich with Division 1 women’s soccer talent.
Year after year, the region boasts some of the nation’s top teams and best individual players, many of whom go on to earn national recognition.
Choosing a Best XI is no easy task, particularly before the season begins. What happened in the previous season and in the past can certainly serve as a strong barometer for what’s to come, but players can also make a significant leap from one year to the next and become one of the area’s elite performers.
Yesterday, we unveiled our Best XI for D1 men’s soccer in New England. Today, we’re unveiling our 2022 preseason Best XI for Division 1 women’s soccer in New England. Our squad is based on a 4-3-3 formation.
