Who were the best of the best during the 2023 season?
That question gets seemingly more difficult to answer each year, which is a testament to the depth and quality of Division 3 women's soccer across New England.
However, we've sifted through the region's top performers to identify New England Soccer Journal's Best XI. The group is organized in a non-traditional 3-3-4 formation because there's a wealth of midfield and forward options.
As always, narrowing down the list was no easy task. There were dozens of additional players who deserve praise for what they accomplished this fall.
