Okay, now the club season is officially over.
After unveiling our ECNL Girls Best XIs for the 2009, 2010 and 2011 age groups, the final loose end from the club campaign is ready to be wrapped up. ECNL released its New England All-Conference teams from the 2025-26 season. The biggest news? All four Player of the Year awards were won by players from New England clubs, an extremely rare feat. The names won’t surprise you. Two are the No. 1 prospects in our Best of New England rankings for their class, while another is No. 2.
The New England sweep is the biggest takeaway from this year’s ECNL Girls award announcements, but there were more noteworthy aspects. A new wave of talent was rightfully honored. A few players also felt snubbed.
