It’s that time of the year.
The high school campaign is over, the new year has begun and the national showcase season is in full swing for New England clubs. MLS Next Fest in Arizona wrapped up last month, and the ECNL Boys Florida showcase took place this past weekend.
Now, it’s time for the ECNL Girls to take center stage.
The prestigious ECNL Girls Florida showcase in Lakewood Ranch is set to kick off Saturday and run through Monday at the Premier Sports Campus. The three-day event serves as the kickoff to the ECNL girls season, allowing teams to shake off the winter rust and measure themselves against top competition around the country before league play begins.
Every attending team is guaranteed three games, with matchups against similarly ranked teams from different conferences. Hundreds of college coaches will also be in attendance.
