5 takeaways and trends from the last month in girls recruiting

The girls’ Class of 2028 is growing quickly.

Just three months after the recruiting window opened on June 15, our database already shows 37 commitments, including 10 to Power Four schools, plus several of the top players in our Best of New England rankings.

While recruiting will slow down during scholastic season, the late summer/early fall window was anything but quiet.

Some of the class's biggest names came off the board. This period featured commitments from teams expected to make noise this fall, such as NEPSAC Class A contenders Miss Porter's and Worcester Academy and CIAC perennial powers Mercy and St. Joseph.

Our first recruiting roundup since July 31 looks at the biggest commitments of the past month and what the early data tells us about the Class of 2028.
