It finished as a watch list of 25, such is the breadth of the NEPSAC boys forwards worth mentioning ahead of the 2026 season. There were still more who probably deserved a shout but didn’t make the cut. If you take one thing away after reading, let it be this: the cupboards are full.

This is the first in a series of watch lists — done by position — that we’ll be running from now until the start of the scholastic season for the NEPSAC, MIAA and CIAC. The goal is to identify impact players on teams likely to make noise, though players who are simply too good to be excluded — regardless of their team’s outlook — will make the list.
